Fractured Truth

A 30x40" mixed-media work created through a process of artistic excavation. By layering structural plaster over a foundation of vibrant resin and ink, the surface is then hand-chiseled to reveal 'veins' of color trapped beneath. This subtractive process creates a dramatic physical depth, where the raw, matte texture of the plaster contrasts with the Soft and airy, dominated by cool aqua-greens, pale turquoise, and gentle whites with hints of earthy beige. The semi-translucent layering creates a sense of depth and movement, almost as though you are peering through mist or beneath the surface of a stream or ocean.
